 Ich erstzte die "Doppel-Blase" der hinteren Kanzel durch eine "einfache" selbstgezogene. Ebenso den Bug durch einen durchsichtigen Eigenbau-Vacu-Teil. Diese sind viel klarer als die Bausatz-Teile. Das Cockpit verbesserte ich mit selbstgemachten Sitzgurten, Muni-Kästen und -gurten, bohrte die MG auf und fertigte MG-Visiere (aus Kupferlitze). Dann tauschte ich die Motoren - hier die vom Ju 188 Bausatz - zu BMW 801 Sternmotoren. Bei den Italeri BMW gibt es kein Lüfterrad, daher fertigte ich mir selbst welche neu an. Vorsicht, andere Ausführungen - die Ju 88 S-3, T-1, T3 - hatten Jumo 213 Reihenmotoren. Die ungewöhnliche Tarnung wurde nach Originalfotos vom KG 66 angeregt, zu jener Zeit, als diese Ju's bei Nacht gegen England geflogen wurden.  I replaced the "double-bubble" of the rear-cockpit-hood by a "single-bubble" self-made vacu one. I also replaced the hard front by a transparent self-made vacu. Those two vacus are much clearer than the original parts of the kit. Changing the cockpit-interior with adding of self-made seat-belts, ammunition-boxes and -belts, drilling up the guns and adding self-made gun-sights (single copper-wire). Then I replaced the engines - I took the ones of the Ju 188 kit - to BMW 801 radial engines. The Italeri BMW do miss the ventilator just aft the propeller, so these two had to be scratch made. Take care of the fact that other variants - the Ju 88 S-3, T-1, T-3 - had the Jumo 213 engine, when you try to build some. The rather unusall camouflage is inspired by original photos, which were taken at that time, these Ju's of KG 66 were piloted against England by night.
