Um die He 280 V3 zu verbessern, waren folgende Arbeiten nötig: Es ist zwar schon ein paar Jahre her, aber da es sich bei allen HUMA-Bausätzen um Kleinserien handelt, war ein wenig Nacharbeit zu tun. Es ist aber noch immer der einzige 1/72er Bausatz. Speziell das Cockpit paßte nicht sehr gut. Hier war bei der Inneneinrichtung doch etwas Schwitzen angesagt. Auch eine selbstgezogene Kanzel mußte her. Der Bausatz wird mit verschiedenen Triebwerken geliefert; He S 03 (Radialverdichter), Jumo 004 (Axialverdichter), und Argus Schubrohre. Die Ausstattung mit den Argus-Rohren gefiel mir nicht, die Jumo 004 sind etwas zu groß geraten, so bekam meine He 280 V3 den Bauzustand mit den Heinkel-Triebwerken. Dank vorhandener Unterlagen (ein Heft von Squadron Signal), war alles relativ leicht zu bewerkstelligen. Und in den Bug genug Ballast einfüllen, das Heck ist ziemlich schwer. Die Farbgebung in neutralem Grau entspricht am ehesten dem Originalanstrich. Die Abziehbilder waren recht gut und hielten ohne Probleme.

To optimize the He 280 V3, following works were necessary: I built this kit some years ago, but caused by the fact, that HUMA produces short-run-kits, there was a little bit of work. Today it is still the only kit in 1/72 scale, which is available. Especially the cockpit did not fit exactly, so that I came to sweat doing the interior. A self-made vacu-canopy had to be built, too. The kit is delivered with different engines; He S 03 (radial compression), Jumo 004 (axial compression), and Argus-pipes. The Argus-pipes did not please me, the Jumo 004 are a bit too large, so my He 280 V3 got the state of equipment with He S 03 radial jet-engines. I own an issue of Squadron Signal about the He 280, so all the work I had to do, succeeded rather fine. And add enough weight into the front, the back is rather heavy. Camouflage in neutral grey comes next to the original color. The decals were rather fine and have good adhesive, they could be attached without problems.
